Sinulog: A Dance Ritual for STO. NIÑO

This was taken two weeks before the Grand Sinulog celebration. I could see people preparing for Sinulog though it was still on the month of December.

Cebuanos are known for being religious. One evident of this is the interminable celebration of Sinulog devoted to the “Batang Hesus”.
The dance is the foremost mark of the Sinulog parade. It is produced by the beating of the drums. Spectators can't just take their eyes off upon watching and dancing to the rhythm of the famous two steps, forward and backward.

It is indeed that your payment is worth the price for your entrance at Cebu City Sports Complex since its beauty is priceless. Contingents from different places bring forward to showcase a dazzling performance. People were shouting for every second's change of props. It was a party rock then, everyone had just their good time. Though it is about to end, the presentation keeps bringing hot execution of their colorful props and costumes.

Though it was very crowded at the Grand Parade as expected, people are still very eager to witness Cebu's Grand Festival, Sinulog. People know no boundaries that will keep them from witnessing such a prestigious festivity whether the hit of the sun will strike them like a laser. They still remain unshaken from the stranded people waiting to stop the parade so they could pass and maybe meet their friends on the opposite road. Watching Sinulog is what tourists are looking forward to in Cebu.
At the end, people are having such an exceptional feeling from the experience they had in Sinulog but of course they or us should not forget what Sinulog brings all about!!!

Aside from Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño, Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is also one of the famous churches in Cebu. It serves as a historical spot not just for native Cebuanos but most especially for tourists because of its old scenic panorama.

VIVA PIT SEÑOR STO. NIÑO ! ! !
